Albion is known for its consistently rich flavour, a true strawberry taste with aromatic notes and a balanced sweetness that holds even in cooler weather. The fruit is firm and easy to handle, ideal for transport and extended storage without compromising quality. Highly productive, vigorous, and adaptable to Alberta’s growing conditions, Albion performs well through the season with proper fertility and moisture management. It also shows resistance to verticillium wilt, phytophthora crown rot, and anthracnose crown rot, though it may be susceptible to powdery mildew in humid conditions.
