Top 4 Under 40 Contest
Honouring the next generation of leaders in the fruit- and vegetable-growing industry
From commercial growers and researchers to equipment suppliers and service providers, Canada’s fruit and vegetable industry has long been filled with leaders of all ages. This year, Fruit & Vegetable magazine is looking for the next generation of trailblazers, recognizing the innovative and dedicated talent of those driving the industry forward with the inaugural Top 4 Under 40 contest.
“This recognition program seeks to honour the best of the next generation within Canada’s fruit and vegetable industry,” says Stefanie Croley, editorial director, agriculture, with Fruit & Vegetable magazine. “We’re looking for candidates who prioritize innovation, leadership and a strong work ethic.”
Nominees must be 39 years of age or under on Dec. 31, 2021, and work within the fruit and vegetable industry.
“Canadian horticulture is driven by incredible talent from all sectors of the industry,” Croley adds. “This program was designed to honour their contributions.”
Nominations for the
program are being accepted until Feb. 28 and the four honourees will be revealed
this spring in Fruit &
Vegetable magazine and in a special interview on the AgAnnex Talks podcast.
